“DaColheita” is smart packaging developed with differentiated raw material and 100% recyclable (EPS). It allows for high thermal insulation, better preservation. Shelf-life of fruits in EPS exceeds 45 days in cold chambers and 20% on gondolas; fruit weight and water loss are reduced by half compared to other packaging.   The packaging is suitable for conserving (from harvest to consumer), transporting (shock absorption) and displaying (directly in the packaging itself at the retailer). Certified by European laboratories, our conservers extend shelf-life, reduce loss and waste in the chain, making the packaging sustainable and compliant with the Save Food Initiative.

Our film perfectly combines the function of a peelable film and that of a rigid lid, using much less plastic; through special holes, consumers can easily drop the liquid out of the pack without splashing. Besides plastic reduction, the final volume of the pack is also reduced, allowing logistics optimization.  Rigid lid removed: more than 30% plastic reduction Perfectly resealable: product is maintained for longer time (no food waste) Final volume reduced: logistics optimization (and reduction of CO2 emissions) User-friendly.

IDC's aseptic tap enables extended shelf-life after commencing dispensing. It's not only a convenience to food service operators, but also a food safety benefit by extending shelf-life and reducing chances of spoilage.

The bag-in-dispenser (BID) format offers hot/cold drinks on demand, and also has a sustainability advantage in source reduction compared to using multiple bottles or paper/aluminum cartons.
