The University of Miyazaki (Japan) has been pursuing academic research on the ingredients for making shochu for over 15 years. With a continuing process of trial and error, this has led to the finding of the best combination of ingredients and yeasts in brewing its own limited edition shochu—Kuntou.

The name was chosen from a word that originally referred to using aroma to fragrant clay that was shaped into the desired ceramic, and that later came to mean nurturing people, which coincides with the universities stance of seeking to guide students in a direction that develops their integrity and dignity.

Shape comes from chime bells, an ancient Chinese musical instrument. The dignified and magnificent overall appearance possesses strong Chinese cultural characteristics. Through combination of Blue and White patterns with dark lines, the bottle body vividly shows the beautiful scenery , and highlights the personality and glamour of Jiangsu Liquor culture.    The color of bottle is sedate on the whole. Lots of white space highlights the conciseness, whilst the small-area green expresses the intelligence and elegance of Jiangsu province. Combined with liquor culture, this is another cultural experience of taste and vision by drinking good wine brewed with crystal-clear spring water.

The world’s first glowing packaging with printed, flexible organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) convinces with extreme innovativeness, a strong ability to draw attention at the POS and sustainability. As a prototype, the Coca-Cola label was equipped with OLED technology. It shines brightly when the "Play" symbol is touched.    OLEDs are ultra thin, flexible, self-sustaining in their energy needs, low priced, sustainable and completely printable with all electronic components including the batteries. In comparison to electroluminescence, OLEDs are 100-500 times brighter, but only require a fraction of the energy – the luminous effect works even in a brightly lit environment.
