"Keep calm & recycle" – in light of this Pirlo developed a certified 98% recyclable mono-material tube. All components are made of polypropylene. Due to the use of a thinner laminate, the improved emptying with little effort can be combined with saving resources and reduce product waste.
In addition, Pirlo avoids the risk of contamination by using film lamination. This guarantees  full  protection of the filling goods. Pirlo summarized four essential topics with the PP mono-material tube: conservation of resources, a reduced product waste, a protection of the filling goods and a high recyclability.

The bottle has the film adhering due to the pressure in blow molding without using any adhesive. Having the texture specific to glass bottles and luxury products, this package is lightweight and offers the durability of PET bottles. Upon disposal, the body and film can be separated by hand.

The special film can make unique package design with fine embossed patterns on the surface, also it improves product differentiate  for sales promotion. Further, the barrier film wraps the pre-form due to eliminate the airgap then be molded. This add enhanced gas barrier properties that would otherwise be impossible.

COFFILM is the world's first high barrier biodegradable coffee bag.  All materials used in COFFILM are biodegradable. (Film, Valve and Zipper). COFFILM has a high oxygen barrier function same as Aluminum and can biodegrade in 180 days underground at the terms.

All 3 layers of film consist of Kraft paper, Bio-pbs and PLANTIC™HP. PLANTIC™ HP has the same Oxygen Transmission Rate with Aluminum (0.8cc/m2/day, 20°C, 65%RH). It’s certified by TUV HOME COMPOST and EN13432. Ink is based on eco-friendly water ink. Valve and zipper are made of Bio-pbs.

Since our inception we have transferred 20,000MT of plastic film into the world with our golden product, the Grow Bag. A change for the environment is necessary! A special Biodegradable Grow Bag that will degrade in a landfill after its shelf life was the result. This will help the environment.
Developing Biodegradable solutions was no easy task since shelf life of product is 1 to 5 years under heavy UV, pesticide and weedicide spraying conditions. Together with Biotech, USA and our customer Riococo, we developed, produced and marketed a solution. Product is marketed as a Biodegradable solution for added customer appeal.

Bischof + Klein has developed the use of post-consumer regranulate (PCR) for manufacturing the B+K Twister Plus® wicketed bag. The PCR content is added only in the inner layer of a three-layer coex film. Overall a share of 30% regranulate is possible without function restriction. The bag is 100% recyclable.
In comparison with usual wicketed bags, this packaging requires 8.09 kg material less per 1,000 units = 35 % less polyethylene (PE). With 30 million units, 242,700 kg material are saved. Furthermore 32,670 kg varnish plus solvents are forgone due to the switch from first printing to reverse printing.
